Coach
Coaching hockey is a rewarding experience. The most common reasons for starting to coach is a love of the sport and the desire to share this with others. Coaches feel proud to help others and make a positive contribution to their community.
As a coach, you could work with players at all levels of skill, knowledge and experience, from beginners to senior international level. You can make a real difference to the game and to the players you work with.
You don’t need to be a skilled player to be a great coach. An enthusiasm for working with people and a passion for the game are much more important!
Good coaches are vital to the success and development of hockey in Scotland. That’s why Scottish Hockey have developed a high quality coaching infrastructure to identify, develop and train our coaches in conjunction with GB Hockey.
