St Andrew’s University: Scottish Hockey accreditation club case study
There are many fantastic examples of hockey clubs delivering great initiatives to enable hockey in Scotland. Scottish Hockey will publish a series of case studies, produced by Scottish Hockey accreditation clubs, to share good practice and the experiences of these clubs.
In this second case study of the series, St Andrew’s University explains the key components to the success of their partnership programme to provide the local community with opportunities to play hockey from a young age.
The club worked in partnership a number of partners who offer the opportunity for the local community to play hockey. The programme also provides students with an opportunity to improve their coaching experience and has also now developed into an international project with 4 of the students planning on going to South Africa in 2017 for 5 weeks.
