Scottish Hockey issues invite to forthcoming Competition Forums
Scottish Hockey is inviting club / school representatives, including players, coaches and committee members, to attend two Competition Forums with Scottish Hockey representatives.
- Senior Competitions: 7pm, Tuesday 28 April, McDiarmid Park, Perth.
- Youth Competitions: 7pm, Tuesday 19 May, Forthbank Stadium, Stirling.
The purpose of the Competitions Forum is to consider the performance of competitions during the 2014/15 season and to discuss the future direction of competitions, with a view to agreement on principles for the forthcoming seasons.
Each club / school is asked to have a maximum of 3 individuals present and will be encouraged to send the most appropriate representatives for discussion.
Please note that the Competitions Forum will replace discussion of competitions in the Annual General Meeting (AGM) open forum. During previous AGMs, the open forum has been dominated by discussion on competition issues and has often been restricted by time available.
Therefore, Scottish Hockey is instituting a separate convening of clubs to allow for an extensive discussion on competitions.
A call for any specific documents will be issued shortly and should be submitted to Scottish Hockey no later than 7 days before the forum date. An agenda, including any papers, will be issued publicly in advance of the meeting
