Scottish Hockey Club Community Fund
As we move into our #Build phase of our strategic plan, Scottish Hockey is launching a new fund for clubs to access. From our consultation sessions at the end of 2022, it was clear that school hockey was a priority in order to grow and develop the game.
From this feedback we have created a Club Community Fund for season 2023-24, to support clubs to engage local schools in hockey, where there is currently little or no hockey provision.
Clubs apply for up to £1000.00 to deliver a project to engage local primary or secondary schools, and create strong school to club links. Project should be linked to following outcomes;
- Introduce hockey to new schools with little or no provision.
- Grow participation of youth hockey at the club.
- Develop teachers/coaches/young leaders.
- Increase transition and retention players within the club.
