Lead the Way applications are open!
Applications are now open for Lead the Way 2023-25!
Lead the Way is designed to educate and empower the current and future leaders of the hockey community. The programme strives to upskill the people of Scotland’s clubs and districts to promote growth and positive change. Lead the Way aims to enhance the leadership qualities of people undertaking club roles and create club role models/leaders.
The programme delivers a blended learning approach of face to face and online sessions running over an 18-month period. Leaders will access a range of core workshops, additional learning opportunities and option to volunteer with Scottish Hockey. Lead the Way candidates will have the opportunity to work alongside like-minded individuals and learn from some of the country’s best in business.
Candidates on this year’s programme can look forward to bespoke workshops on, Growth Mindset and Building Confidence; Leadership and Communication Styles; Creating an Inclusive Club; plus, many exciting more sessions.
Whether you are finding your place within a club or are already in a volunteering role, then Lead the Way can educate and empower you to achieve your potential. The programme is targeted at individuals 18+ and is for you if:
- You are keen to learn, develop personal skills and you’re
- You are willing to engage in leadership sessions and share ideas with a group of like-minded people.
- You are up for a challenge and eager to lead change in your club, district or beyond!
- You are willing to utilise your new skills to deliver hockey projects in Scotland.
