Update on Scottish Hockey members’ engagement
Scottish Hockey’s Vice President Kaz Cuthbert has been appointed as lead on Scottish Hockey’s upcoming engagement project.
In August the Scottish Hockey Board announced its decision to commission an independent consultant to engage with Scottish Hockey’s membership in order to collate views, assess feedback, and identify priority areas for improvement within our sport.
This project has been initiated on the back of a difficult summer for the whole of Scottish sport. These circumstances have challenged how Scottish Hockey has operated and has offered the opportunity to reflect on how the organisation manages the sport and make improvements going forward.
The director originally leading this membership engagement initiative is no longer able to do so due to work commitments. However, we have reset the project scope and appointed a new leader.
Vice President Kaz Cuthbert is now leading the engagement project. We will announce our plans for the engagement, and how you can get involved, soon.
This is an excellent opportunity for members of all areas and ages to provide fresh perspectives and new ideas to assist in the continual development of hockey in Scotland. It is an ideal platform to highlight current successes which we would retain but also influence areas where Scottish Hockey can improve.
