Successful Easter 4 Nations action for Scotland Emerging squads
Scotland Emerging Boys 3-2 France U16
It was a 3-2 victory for Scotland Emerging Boys in an action-packed opening match of the U16 Easter 4 Nations at the Glasgow National Hockey Centre.
A double from Andrew McGrane and a penalty stroke from Findlay Duncan gave Scotland the win in a highly entertaining contest.
Scotland Emerging Girls 1-0 Czech Rep U16
There was a great start to the Easter 4 Nations tournament for Scotland Emerging Girls in Hradec Kralove, as they beat the hosts Czech Republic 1-0.
A hard fought and competitive game was edged by the Scots. Scotland looked to take the lead in the third quarter but missed a stroke. They wouldn’t be denied the win however, and Orla Miller secured the points with a strike in the final quarter.
