Player Registration Audit
As part of Scottish Hockey’s ongoing commitment to
provide a fair and even environment for the enjoyment of hockey
throughout Scotland, we will be undertaking an audit of players
registered by their club to play competition hockey.
Taking place in the New Year, this audit will allow us to make
sure we have an accurate record of registered players and their
associated clubs. Therefore, we ask that the relevant person (Club
Captain, Treasurer, Club Secretary etc.) in all clubs take time
over the coming month to ensure that all players playing in
competition hockey are registered with us before the end of
January.
Not only are there the benefits of ensuring players are eligible
to play but there are of course insurance issues that will need to
be considered, if a player is not registered then they will not be
insured to play.
If you have any questions regarding player registration please
do not hot hesitate to contact Louise McIntyre.
