Perthshire youth tournament a hit with youngsters

 

Perthshire HC hosted their annual junior tournament at Kilgraston on May 31st 2015.  8 clubs from Tayside and Fife were involved, with over 150 young hockey players enjoying the day!
Winners from each age group are listed below:
U10: Junior Hockey Academy B
U12: Junior Hockey Academy
U14: Perthshire HC
The tournament was run by Perthshire ladies 1st XI player Hannah Blaikie who was raising funds for her voluntary year in Africa with Project Trust.  With the help and support of family and hockey friends Hannah raised over £500, thank you to all who were involved!
Perthshire HC was also celebrating its 40th anniversary over the weekend which was a great and fun filled weekend.  The junior tournament concluded a memorable 3 days for all who attended the many hockey matches, past and present members reunion and the end of season dinner dance/awards presentation at Scone racecourse.
