Officials in European action
It’s another big month for Scotland’s officials. In addition, to the Scotland senior men’s and women’s teams gearing up for action in the EuroHockey qualifiers, we also have several umpires and officials in action too.
In Glasgow we have Katie Howie as umpire with Logan Forbes and Katie Joss as judges. This will be Logan’s first official EuroHockey event and as he is still in his teens; an excellent example of how younger hockey members can get involved at the sport at the highest level.
In Dublin both David Sweetman and Jamie Telfer are umpires and in Douai, France, Jean Duncan is the umpires’ manager.
Good luck to all of Scotland’s umpires and officials as they fly the flag for Scotland’s officiating.
