Vishal Marwaha appointed interim Scotland U21 Men’s Head Coach
Scottish Hockey has appointed Vishal Marwaha as interim Scotland U21 Men’s Head Coach until August 2023.
Vishal will lead the team for its upcoming fixtures.
Vishal has had tremendous success as head coach of Western Wildcats men over the last four years, and an exceptional playing career where he earned 256 caps for Scotland and Great Britain.
Marwaha said, “I am delighted to be appointed as the interim U21 Scotland Men’s Coach. It is a real honour to be given the responsibility of coaching the national team. I would like to thank Scottish Hockey for this opportunity and look forward to working with the players this summer.”
Scottish Hockey’s Director of Hockey Operations, Jennifer Griffin, added, “We received many strong applications for this post, and the recruitment process was extremely competitive.
“I am thrilled to have Vishal on board as U21 Head Coach. Vishal brings a significant depth of knowledge and experience from both his playing and coaching career which will impact the squad positively.”
