U18 Indoor Cup Finals
This weekend many of our most talented young indoor players will meet at the U18 Indoor Cup Finals at Bells in Perth. Adding to the culmination of the men’s and women’s leagues, it promises to be a celebration of Scottish indoor hockey.
The U18 finals on Saturday 29 January bring together teams from across the country, most of whom have qualified through their District tournaments. The Girls will play in the morning in two pools of three teams each, followed by play-offs and a final. The boys will have a round-robin tournament with five teams.
The Teams
Strathallan Girls and Perthshire Boys are looking to defend the U18 Indoor titles they won in 2020, following last season’s cancellations. The participating teams are:
Girls: Pool A: Strathallan, Granite City Wanderers, High School of Glasgow; Pool B: Mary Erskine School, Gordonians, Peebles High School
Boys: Perthshire, Clydesdale, Kelburne, Watsonians, Strathallan

Girls’ matches will be 15 minutes each way; and boys will be 12 minutes each way. Spectators are very welcome to attend, but must comply with the venue’s Covid rules.
