Scottish Hockey extend digital partnership with Blue2
Following the successful launch of its membership system last year, Scottish Hockey is delighted to announce the extension of its digital partnership with Blue2 until 2019 to include development of its competition system and a new website.
The organisation is dedicated to providing innovative digital systems that will allow clubs and teams across the country to communicate effectively, and work in partnership with clubs, schools, members, funding bodies and district associations to effectively manage data and improve the way the sport is managed throughout Scotland.
Scottish Hockey’s IT director Angie Keith said: ‘The creation of our new membership system and our relationship with Blue2 has been a great success and we’re really pleased to extend the partnership to include a new competitions system and website.
“The membership system has put important information about our clubs and teams right at our fingertips and allowed us to influence a number of important decisions, at both national and district level.
“We are pleased that we have now been able to enter an initial testing phase with the new competitions system, while the website is now in a planning phase.”
Nial Chapman, Blue2’s digital director, said: We’re delighted to announce the extension of our relationship with Scottish Hockey until 2019. Working as their digital partners has been an exciting and challenging project and we’re thrilled to be able to continue working together on the development of their core systems.
“We have already begun collaborating on some exciting and innovative digital solutions for future release, and look forward to supporting Scottish Hockey’s vision to promote the sport throughout Scotland.”
