In the final match of the build-up tour of Hamburg,
Scotland men`s under 21 squad went down 4-2 to Grossflottberger,
part of the preparation programme for the European Junior Nations
Championships in Den Bosch in two weeks time.
After a goalless first half, it was the Scots youngsters who
took the lead through 16 year old Hamish Imrie, the Grange striker
deflected the ball under the goalkeeper at the second attempt after
a cross from the right.
The Scots then went to sleep and proceeded to lost four goals in
the space of 15 minutes to go 4-1 down. They did pull a
goal back by the end, Alan Forsyth won a free hit outside the
circle, took it quickly and found Imrie in space and he coolly
chipped the ball over the advancing keeper.
