New intake of Silver Accredited clubs
Scottish Hockey’s Club Accreditation Programme, sponsored by Arthur J Gallagher, now sits at a total of 28 clubs across Scotland. Scottish Hockey is delighted to announce that the following clubs have achieved Silver Accredited status during the March Accreditation intake:
Silver
Clydesdale Hockey Club
Ayr Hockey Club
Garnock Hockey Club
Erskine Stewart’s Melville Hockey Club

These clubs have worked tirelessly to fulfil all the required criteria to achieve Silver Level Accreditation, including our new coach PVG guidelines and coach education criteria. The clubs have developed their governance and implemented new processes across their club environments.
The Accreditation Programme has been developed to formalise the work that clubs may already do and ensures that the clubs have a clear vision for the future along with ensuring succession planning, workforce planning and strong governance are to the fore. The programme also ensures that clubs are safe, well organised and efficient with a focus on membership growth and retention.
The clubs will now be able to access all of the benefits that the programme offers. Well done to all the volunteers involved in the completing the accreditation process on behalf of their clubs.
