Lead the Way’s Eilidh drives new Neurodivergent Network for Hockey
As part of their project, Lead the Way graduate, Eilidh Player, is introducing the Neurodivergent Network.
This network is designed to create a supportive and inclusive space for neurodivergent hockey participants across Scotland.
As a neurodivergent individual, Eilidh noticed the lack of a dedicated space for neurodivergent hockey players. This inspired her to create a network where people can discuss the aspects of hockey that matter to us, connect with like-minded individuals, and build connections. This initiative is part of Eilidh’s Lead the Way project, supported by Scottish Hockey.
The Neurodivergent Network welcomes anyone aged 16 and over who identifies as neurodivergent (including Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, etc).
The network plan to meet online quarterly, and members will help shape the network’s development. The group will also feedback and collaborate with Scottish Hockey to drive positive changes in the sport. Additionally, an online group will be created for members to connect outside of meetings.
If you would like to make a positive impact and be part of the community, please sign up via the form linked below:
Sign up closes 31st May 2025, first meeting TBC in Summer of 2025.
