Discipline Officer Vacancy
Scottish Hockey is looking to appoint a discipline officer to oversee all domestic and relevant international discipline affairs relating to field discipline as described by the Scottish Hockey Ethics Manual.
About this role
On a regular basis Scottish Hockey will have volunteering opportunities to support the organisation and running of the sport.
About you
You may have gained your experience in the public, private or third sector, and there is no need to have prior experience in this type of role.
More important is your enthusiasm to use your skills and experience to contribute to make a positive difference to sport in Scotland.
There’s no need to be a sports fan, or a hockey-lover – we have plenty of those! At Scottish Hockey inclusion underpins everything we do. If you’ve got the right skills for the job, we want to hear from you. We particularly encourage applications from groups which are currently underrepresented in sports leadership positions.
About the time commitment
Most roles can accommodate the capacity that volunteers have to give. Please refer to the role description for more information.
As volunteers, we appreciate that your time is valuable, so we strive to ensure that all participation is organised in line with your interests and personal time.
About Scottish Hockey
With more than 100 clubs and 13,000 members from the Borders to the Highlands and Islands, and opportunities from grassroots to elite level, with players of all ages, hockey truly is a sport for life.
About the Board
Our board comprises eight committed non-executive directors. Seven are volunteers, with the eighth being our CEO. Each brings complementary skills and experiences gained across the private, public and third sector, and leads on different aspects of our strategic aims.
