Caley Cougars head south for Futures Cup
Scotland’s best young hockey athletes make the annual pilgrimage south this week to take part in England Hockey’s Futures Cup. The event is once again being held at Oaklands College in St Albans, Hertfordshire.
The tournament features boys and girls’ teams at under 15 and 17 levels and Scotland compete as the Caledonian Cougars. They will play against the Pennine Pumas (North of England), Wessex Leopards (South West England), Mercia Lynx (English Midlands), Saxon Tigers (South East England) and the Celtic Jaguars (Wales). The action begins today (Thursday) and concludes with placement matches on Saturday.
This is a great opportunity for our pathway athletes to benchmark themselves against the best young players in England and Wales. Good luck to all our teams and their coaches.
