Scottish Women and Girls in Sport Week
This year’s Scottish Women and Girls in Sport Week is the perfect opportunity to celebrate being active by inspiring and supporting women and girls across Scotland to get involved in sport or physical activity.
Running from 2nd – 8th November, this annual campaign is now in its tenth year. This landmark year provides an opportunity to reflect on and celebrate the growth of the campaign over the last ten years, and the progress to improve opportunities for women and girls to be active across Scotland. The theme is Celebrating a Decade of the Week.
We’re inviting women and girls of all ages and abilities to get active, participating in whichever form of exercise works best for them.
Everyone can get involved. By finding an activity or sport that’s right for you, you’ll boost your physical and mental wellbeing whilst having fun at the same time and building lasting friendships.
Find out what’s happening near you and join in the fun at [http://bit.ly/4gOLIhD ].
Let’s get active and move together this Scottish Women and Girls in Sport Week by using #SheCanSheWill
By moving your body, you’ll feel better, and inspire other women and girls around you.
