Affiliation requirements 2024-25

Scottish Hockey is pleased to announce the Affiliation requirements for the season 2024-25.

All hockey clubs must affiliate with Scottish Hockey to ensure compliance with safeguarding, safe delivery, and good governance standards. The affiliation process is essential for maintaining the integrity and safety of the sport and protecting all participants.

The affiliation window is open from Tuesday 10th September to Friday 15th November 2024.

This season each club must submit required documentation and declare set criteria. Tutorials and support on how to do this on sport:80 will be sent in due course.

Scottish Hockey Affiliation Requirements:

Submissions:

  • Constitution
  • Safeguarding Policy
  • Details of Safeguarding and Wellbeing Officer
  • CWPO Certificate
  • Updated contact info for committee members (preferably club generic emails to be used)

A new addition is the Club Hub completion certificate, all core committee members (President, Secretary, Safeguarding officer and Treasurer) must complete the Hub course and submit. Information on how to enrol will be released in due course.

Affiliation submission will be through our new membership system Sport:80, each club should submit the relevant files and confirm declarations assigned to their club’s profile. Tutorials on Sport:80 are available on the Scottish Hockey website.
