Wales and Ireland series’ Aspiring squads selection
The Scotland Aspiring squads are in action over the next two weekends as they build towards this summer’s European championship events.
Scotland Aspiring girls play Wales at Sport Wales National Centre in Cardiff on Saturday 21 June at 14:00 and Sunday 22 June at 10:00. It is part of the squad’s preparations for competing at U18 Girls EuroHockey Championship II at the Glasgow National Hockey Centre in front of a packed home crowd.
The team goes into this series on the back of an excellent clean sweep of victories over Ulster in Glasgow. More information and tickets for U18 Girls EuroHockey Championship II in Glasgow can be found here.
Aspiring boys play Ireland at Jordanstown on Friday 27 June at 19:00l Saturday 28 June at 15:30; and Sunday 29 June at 10:00. These matches are preparing the squad for the U18 EuroHockey Championship in Lille, France, on 13-19 July alongside Belgium, Czech Republic, England, Spain, France, Germany, and The Netherlands.
