Umpires and officials in action in Europe
Scottish Hockey has a number of young umpires attending various upcoming EHF umpire development events; and there are also umpires and officials representing Scotland in the upcoming EHL tournaments.
Katie Howie will be attending Umpire Development Programme (UDP) while Lewis White will be at Umpires for Europe (U4E). Kristie Burnett and Jamie Telfer will attend Umpires for Nations (U4N) with all looking to develop themselves even further, and enhance Scotland’s reputation for producing the very best umpires and officials.
At the EHL men’s Final 12 in Amsterdam, Colin Boubert will be there as technical officer alongside Martin Madden as umpire.
EHL Women’s Final 8 will see Sarah Wilson take to the pitch as umpire, while at EHL ranking Cup in Terrassa, John Heron will be Umpires Manager with Alex Fedenczuk and David Sweetman there as umpires.
The Women’s EuroHockey Trophy in Cernusco sul Naviglio Italy also has Jean Duncan appointed as Umpires Manager.
Congratulations to all the umpires and officials representing Scotland across all these events.
