Ulster test for Scotland U16 Girls
Scotland U16 Girls will travel to Jordanstown in Northern Ireland this week to play Ulster in three friendly matches from 7-9 June.
Head Coach Bill Robson has selected a development group to travel across the Irish Sea, with many of the players included in his squad likely to continue at this age group next season.
“The vast majority of the players included in this squad will continue onto next season at U16 age group so these games are about presenting an opportunity for the players to experience hockey at this level and in tournament conditions”, said Robson.
“Results are not the primary focus for the games against Ulster”, stated Robson. “It is about progression and development as players, whilst also giving them a challenging level of performance to aspire to. It will be a testing three games against Ulster but I expect the group to embrace the opportunity to play a good standard of opponent.”
