Uddingston and Edinburgh University men battle out draw
Edinburgh University missed out on the opportunity to rise up the men`s National League 1 table when they were held to an entertaining 1-1 draw by Uddingston.
The students are on the same points as Western Wildcats, Grove Menzieshill and Hillhead, but trail all of these sides on goal difference.
The draw did not help Uddingston`s cause any more, the Lanarkshire side remain implanted in seventh spot.
Almost inevitably it was Aussie Brad Hughes that found the net for Uddingston while the Edinburgh goal came from David Mawhinney.
