U16/U18 Inter-Districts
We’re all set for an action-packed weekend of high-quality hockey when many of the best young players in the country compete at the Notts Sport U16/U18 Inter-District competitions. The girls are at Peffermill in Edinburgh, with eight U16 teams competing in two groups on Saturday, followed by play-off finals on Sunday. The six U18 Girls’ teams have a round-robin tournament over both days, with the top points-scorers becoming champions.
The boys are at the Glasgow National Hockey Centre, with four U16 teams and four U18 teams competing in round-robin groups before playing in cross-over finals.
It promises to be a great weekend for all hockey enthusiasts and we’re hoping a big crowd will turn out to enjoy the matches. The cafés at Peffermill and Glasgow will be open all weekend.
