Thank You from MS Society
At the District & Reserve Cup and Plate finals
earlier this month, MS Society held a small fundraising event at
Peffermill.
A MS Society spokesperson said:
“A huge thank you to Scottish Hockey, Peffermill Playing Fields
and Edinburgh First for allowing volunteers to hold a Cake Break
for MS Society’s annual fundraising event which helps increase
awareness of MS.”
“Our contribution to help the lives of thousands of people
affected by MS is £162.71, which was raised from the kind staff and
spectators attending the 2011-2012 District & Reserve Cup and
Plate Finals at Peffermill, Edinburgh on Saturday 5th May 2012.
We hope everyone enjoyed the tasty baking and there was even
some recipe swapping going on!”
The MS Society (www.mssociety.org.uk) is the UK’s largest
