Single goal defeat in Terrassa
SPAIN 1 SCOTLAND 0 – 2ND TEST
MATCH IN TERRASSA
Considering Spain are fifth in the world rankings and
bound for the London Olympics, Scotland`s men again put in a gutsy
performance to restrict the talented Spanish to a 1-0 victory in
the second test match in Terrassa.
“This was another good team performance, particularly
defensively as we restricted the Spanish to a couple of open play
chances and two penalty corners,” said Eugene Connolly, Scotland`s
manager. “There is still work to be done up front, we
created few clear-cut chances today against the Spanish
defence.”
