Senior players inspire Busby Primary School
National senior players Ali Howie and Maisie Morris visited Busby Primary School this morning to chat to the kids about everything hockey in the lead up to Glasgow 2014.
As it is National Commonwealth Day, the school kids were supporting Sport Your Trainer’s Day scheme and have been doing lots of activities ahead of Glasgow 2014.
First thing this morning Ali from Milne Craig Clydesdale Western and Maisie who plays for Edinburgh University took some fun dribbling games with the senior part of the school, primary 6 and 7. This was followed with a Q & A with the rest of the lower school where all sorts of questions were asked, from what inspired them to take up hockey to the most exciting place in the world where they had played hockey.
The kids really enjoyed the sessions and meeting two of the National Scotland players and wished the girls the best of luck for the future.
