Junior Boys Cup
This season’s Junior Boys Cup Final will be between Edinburgh Academy and Fettes College.
Edinburgh Academy saw off the challenges of George Heriot’s School and Loretto before a nerve-wracking win on penalties against Merchiston Castle in the semi-final, after it finished 1-1.
Fettes are bidding to continue their domination in this competition, as they aim for their fourth title in a row! They beat Glenalmond College and Jordanhill School before a hard-fought 3-0 win against George Watson’s College in the semi-final.
Junior Girls Cup
The Junior Girls Cup Final is also an all-Edinburgh encounter, as Edinburgh Academy take on George Watson’s College.
Accies eased past Hutchesons’ and St Columba’s School to set up a 4-1 win against St George’s School. They’re looking to regain the cup they won in 2022.
Watson’s put out Strathallan and The Glasgow Academy before seeing off Mary Erskine’s 3-0 in a local derby. The Colinton Road girls are bidding to retain the trophy they won last year.
Junior Girls Challenge Cup
It’s West v North in the Girls Challenge Cup Final, as Jordanhill School take on Robert Gordon’s College.
The Glasgow girls have had an impressive path to the final, scoring 18 goals in their three matches. After beating Albyn School and Kelso High School, they knocked out last year’s Plate winners, Morrison’s Academy 5-0 in the semi-final.
The girls from the granite city eliminated Marr College and Galashiels Academy before a very tough 4-2 semi-final win against a talented North Berwick High School team.
Junior Boys Plate
The Junior Boys Plate Final will be an all-Midlands affair between Glenalmond College and Strathallan.
Glenalmond knocked out Hutchesons’ on penalties in the first round of the Plate, before having a bye to the semi-final. In a cracking cup-tie in Glasgow, they beat Jordanhill School 2-1.
Strathallan saw off Loretto 6-0 after getting a bye in round 1. This set up a thrilling semi-final against Stewart’s Melville which they won 2-1.
Junior Girls Plate
The Junior Girls Plate Final between The High School of Glasgow and Dollar Academy promises to be a cracking match.
The High School had a walkover Glenalmond and a big win against Hutchesons’ to reach the final.
Dollar edged past Strathallan on penalties after a 1-1 draw, before a 4-0 win against High School of Dundee in the semi-final.
Junior Girls Challenge Plate
Finally, the Girls Challenge Plate Final sees Peebles High School play St Margaret’s School from Aberdeen.
