Scottish junior internationals to take on Brazil
Scotland’s young international hockey stars will be given the opportunity to test themselves against a touring Brazil side at the Glasgow National Hockey Centre on 19 & 21 May.
A Scotland U21/U18 select will take to the field, led by coach Stephen McCurry, and will face up to a Brazilian side who are embarking on a European tour as they build up to potential participation at next summer’s Rio Olympic Games.
Indeed, the South Americans have already played a number of Scottish clubs, including Grange, Edinburgh University and a Hillhead/Uddingston select.
