Scottish Hockey live streams
Scottish Hockey is continuing to test new methods for live streaming, and improving its streaming output, and as part of this will be live streaming the play-offs; Grand Finals; and both Scottish Cup days at the Glasgow National Hockey Centre.
We have been working with QTV, who we have worked with on live streaming for many years, on creating exciting and dynamic coverage of hockey in Scotland.
As part of our testing, the FIH Watch Hockey platform has been used recently for Scottish Hockey’s live streaming output, including our coverage of the Schools’ Cup Finals and Scottish Cup Semi-Finals, and will also be used for the upcoming streams.
We will also investigate live streaming some Premiership matches early next season.
As part of our testing all matches have been free to watch, however the play-offs and Grand Finals will be pay-per-view at £5 for weekend access to watch all games over both days.
The Scottish Cup Finals will be free to watch. Only pitch 1 will be live streamed.
Following the play-offs; Grand Finals; and Scottish Cup Finals we will survey for opinions on our live streaming output. We invite everyone to feedback on the coverage, and the platform, as we develop a significant live streaming offering for the future.
We invite you to support the coverage by watching and sharing the content, providing feedback through our surveys, and helping us build for the future.
