Scottish Hockey is proud to announce the launch of Club Excel
Club Excel is an exciting brand new initiative. It is designed to support and enhance all the great work that hockey clubs do to make a tangible difference to the lives of their members and the community. It is split into three key pillars:
- People
- Play
- Places
These pillars are in turn are wrapped in:
- A strong club culture
- Insightful communication
- Solid governance
Club Excel
Clubs work towards achieving the awards they want to achieve within each pillar. These awards are:
People Pillar Awards – Workforce / Members / Wider community
Play Pillar Awards – Fun Start / Active Living / Competitive / Player Pathway
Places Pillar Awards – Owning / Letting / Aspiring
Clubs can work towards a single award within a pillar or multiple awards across one or more pillar. Each award needs to display the club’s values, governance and communication to ensure it is welcomed and embeded in a safe and sustainable way.
