Scottish Hockey Announcement: Competitions & Events Manager
Following twelve years’ service with Scottish Hockey,
Dave Crighton will leave his position as Competition and Events
Manager in February 2013.
Dave has been involved with managing Competitions since joining
the organisation as National Administrator in 2001, through to his
promotion to Competition and Events Manager in 2011. His hard work,
dedication and work ethic has been evident to all.
Throughout Dave’s twelve years with Scottish Hockey, he has
demonstrated honesty and integrity in every aspect of his work, and
he has played a central role in the promotion of Scottish Hockey
Competitions to the extent that we now have more people registered
to play hockey in Scotland than ever before.
Robert Heatly, Chief Executive, said “The work and commitment
shown by Dave on behalf of Scottish Hockey have been greatly
appreciated over the years he has been with us and his vast
experience and knowledge will be sorely missed, and Scottish Hockey
wishes Dave all the best with his future career.”
The post of Competitions and Events Manager is part of the
senior management team of Scottish Hockey and the recruitment
process to appoint a replacement will begin in December.
