Scottish Hockey has hosted the latest in a series of Scottish GB honours caps presentations. Four well known players in Scotland have received their GB honours caps.
Lynn Forsyth, who received a GB Touring Team cap for the USA Tour in 1981, received her GB cap. Lynn’s cap will join her son Alan’s GB cap in the Forsyth house.
Vikki Bunce, from Dundee Wanderers and Grove Menzieshill, who took a maternity break in the middle of her GB career in 2008, and returned to top flight hockey.
Moira Macleod, from Glasgow Western, who went in to the history books as the first ever GB women’s goal scorer at an Olympic Games, at Seoul in 1988.
Laura Bartlett, a Milne Craig Clydesdale Western player, was presented with her GB Honours Cap, when home in Glasgow at Easter, by Kaz Cuthbert, Scottish Hockey and GB Board member.
Laura represented GB at three Olympic Games, 2004, 2008 and 2012 in London, winning a bronze medal. She also won a silver medal with GB at the FIH Champions Trophy in 2012 in Rosario.
