Scots lose out to England in warm-up games
Scotland Men continued their preparations for the FIH World League Round 2 in Paris with two warm-up matches against England at Lillieshall this weekend.
The Scots lost out 5-1 yesterday, with Wei Adams getting the goal for the national side, while they went down 6-2 to their English today. Kelburne’s Alan Forsyth and Grove Menzieshill’s Gavin Byers were the Scottish scorers.
Scotland Team Manager Eugene Connolly said, “The players competed for long periods of the games against England and these matches were excellent preparations for the FIH World League in Paris starting a week on Monday.”
