Scotland’s future hockey talent set to shine at U18 & U16 Inter-District event
The best of Scotland’s youth hockey talent descend on Glasgow National Hockey Centre for the U18 & U16 Boys Inter-District event on Saturday 26 & Sunday 27 September.
Featuring teams from five Districts, including East, Highland, Midland, North and West, the competing youngsters will be aiming to impress the youth international coaching staff who will be selecting their provisional squads for forthcoming matches and tournaments in 2016.
The competition will feature a round-robin format, with two further play-off matches to determine places 1-4.
A great weekend of youth hockey awaits so come along to support your friends or family members.
Caterers En Croute will be on-site serving snacks, hot and cold drinks, while there will also be the opportunity to purchase Scottish Hockey merchanside, including key-rings, squidgy balls, and more.

Getting to the Glasgow National Hockey Centre
Car I park my car at the venue?
There will be car parking available at the venue allocated on first come first serve basis.
What are my transport options for getting to the event?
Car/Motorcycle: For those travelling from outwith Glasgow, the city can be accessed by the M8, M80, M74 and M77 motorways.
Bus: Ballater St. is serviced by number 65, 164. Nearby London Rd. is serviced by 18, 43, 46, 64 and 263. Please visit FirstBus Glasgow for more information.
Train: Bridgeton Rail Station is approximately 10 minutes’ walk from the venue and is serviced by trains to and from Glasgow Central. Please visit National Rail for more information.
Venue Facilities
Can I bring a buggy into the stadium?
Yes, however there are stairs and no access to a lift. The buggy will need to be checked into reception as it will not be allowed in the stands due to health and safety.
Can I buy merchandise?
Yes.
What should I do if I misplace my property?
Ask the event staff on site and they will advise further.
What can I bring to the venue?
Can I bring a camera?

No.
Can I bring a backpack or suitcase?
Small backpacks are permitted, suitcases no.
Can I bring food and drink into the stadium?
Food yes. No alcohol or glass bottles allowed.
