Scotland National Hockey Teams Scoop New Sponsorship With BOHO
BOHO is the new official sponsor of Scotland’s national hockey teams. The exciting four-year partnership with Scottish Hockey will see the Scottish National Teams supported by property brand, BOHO, for the long-term.
Ahead of a huge summer of international hockey, which includes action on home turf as Scotland hosts Women’s EuroHockey Championships II in Glasgow from 4-10 August, the new deal comes at an important time for Scottish Hockey as it looks to build and support its teams for international competitions now and in the future.
Scottish-based property company Structured House Group, which owns BOHO, is the new operator of Scotway House – a £40million GDV development along the Clydeside. BOHO chose to support Scottish Hockey as they found synergy between the brand and the national teams.
Craig Inglis, CEO of Structured House Group and BOHO Founder, is backing the sponsorship, he said: “BOHO places community at the centre of our ethos and by supporting Scottish Hockey, a proud sport for life, we found a synergy with our own brand and its vision. Structured House Group set up BOHO to look after each of our spaces and places – from our rental apartments to student residences and hotels – our buildings celebrate all kinds of living as you journey through life. It is with immense pride that we are the official sponsors of Scottish Hockey and to support them through the next chapter as they develop.”
Chair of Scottish Hockey, Scott Baird, joined the teams for the unveiling of the new strips with representatives from the Senior men and women’s teams along with the U21; U18 and U16 squads, and added: “BOHO is a thriving and ambitious company operating in Scotland with a global outlook and we are delighted to partner with a likeminded brand, which advocates health and wellbeing. The partnership will further raise the profile of Scottish Hockey as a sport for life with an exciting long-term future ahead as we enter into a massive summer of international hockey.”
Representing the Scotland women’s team was Captain Kaz Cuthbert, and she said: “All the players are absolutely delighted to have support from BOHO – it’s a big boost to us all.”
“Having all the national teams coming together to celebrate the support from BOHO is fantastic, and it’s great to have a four-year partnership that will help take things forward in the years to come.”
