Promotion and relegation issues confirmed for Men’s INL Div.3/4/5
A number of promotion and relegation issues were settled
last weekend in the Men’s Indoor National Leagues.
In Men’s INL Division 3, Dunfermline outfit Alpha Data Carnegie
claimed the title, with the Fifers pipping Quaser by two points. At
the foot of the table, Waverley Inveresk Trinity were relegated to
Division 4.
Taking WIT’s place in INL Division 3 will be newly crowned INL
Division 4 champions FMGM Monarchs. The Taysiders secured their
first ever indoor national league title with a record of won 8,
drawn 1, lost 1, finishing nine points ahead of second placed
Glasgow University. Local rivals Harris Academy FP II were
relegated from Division 4.
In INL Division 5, Greaves Clydesdale’s second string finished
the season seven points ahead of Aberdeen GSFP to clinch promotion
and take the league title.
This weekend sees the climax to the other Indoor National
Leagues in both men and women’s divisions.
