NRS Consult partners with Scottish Hockey to support the Scotland Women’s National Team
Scottish Hockey is pleased to announce NRS Consult as a sponsor of the Scotland Women’s National Team, and Scottish Hockey’s Preferred Engineering and Architecture Partner.
In what is a huge year for the Scotland women’s team, having the support of a sponsor like NRS Consult is a huge boost to the team, and the business’s logo now appears on the team’s sleeve. The squad is currently in Chile to compete in the FIH Hockey Nations Cup.
The participating teams include some of the best hockey nations in the world, with two of them, Japan and the USA, having played at the Paris 2024 Olympics. The tournament will see Scotland feature alongside Canada; Chile; Ireland; Japan; Korea; New Zealand; and USA.
Then on 9-17 August Scotland will compete in the EuroHockey Championship in Monchengladbach, Germany, where they have been drawn in Pool B alongside Belgium; Spain; and England. It’s Scotland women’s third appearance at the tournament in a row, and they qualified after winning the EuroHockey Championship Qualifier in Glasgow last year.
Neil Clarkson, NRS Consult director said ‘Women’s sport is incredibly important and it’s fantastic to see development and international recognition across a number of sports. We are pleased that NRS’s support of women’s sport is extended to now include hockey as well as cricket. We are delighted and proud to be adding our support to the Scottish Women’s National Team as they progress with their development and continue to be excellent role models for future players. We wish the team every success on the international stage over the next two exciting years’.
Scottish Hockey’s Director of Hockey Operations, Jennifer Griffin, said, “We’re thrilled to have the support of NRS Consult at such an exciting time for the Scotland women’s team. It’s a big year ahead, and having NRS Consult backing us is a huge boost for the team. We’re excited to collaborate and continue supporting the team as we head into another huge year for the sport.”
