Notts Sport U14 Girls’ Inter-District
The Notts Sport U14 Girls’ Inter District 2017 competition will be held at Peffermill on Saturday 20 May 2017, where 8 districts will go toe-to-toe to take the spoils.
The competition will feature teams entered by the East, Midland, Highland, West, South, South West, MidWestEast and North districts, with the action getting underway from 10am.
In last year’s final Midland defeated West in a great encounter. Midland took the lead after three minutes through Ellie Stott. From then on it was a very close match with both teams playing good hockey. West had the momentum going into the closing stages of the match and it looked as though an equaliser was on the cards. However Midland broke clear with two minutes to go and Stephanie Craig hammered a low shot beyond the West goalkeeper.
Expect another fantastic day of youth hockey at Peffermill.
