Nominations Open for the Scottish Hockey Awards 2026

Scottish Hockey is delighted to announce that nominations are now open for the Scottish Hockey Awards 2026, taking place at Tynecastle Stadium in Edinburgh on Thursday 3 September 2026.

The annual awards evening is one of the highlights of the hockey calendar, bringing together the hockey community from across the country to celebrate the players, clubs, volunteers, officials, coaches and teams who make hockey in Scotland such a vibrant and successful sport.

Following another memorable season across the game, the awards provide an opportunity to recognise the outstanding dedication, passion and achievements that continue to drive Scottish Hockey forward both on and off the pitch.

Scottish Hockey is also excited to confirm a new future approach for the awards, with the event rotating to different parts of the country every second year alongside Glasgow. This will allow more members of the hockey community to attend and celebrate the sport closer to home, while showcasing hockey’s impact across Scotland.

There are a wide range of awards open for nomination, including Player of the Year; Volunteer of the Year; Coach of the Year; Official of the Year; Community Club of the Year; Inclusion Award; Club Team of the Year; Masters Team of the Year; and the Spirit of Hockey Award.

Volunteers are the lifeblood of the sport, clubs continue to create welcoming and inclusive communities, and players, coaches and officials consistently inspire others through their commitment and performances. The awards are an opportunity to ensure those contributions receive the recognition they deserve.

Scottish Hockey encourages all clubs, players, members and supporters to submit nominations and celebrate the individuals and teams who have made a difference throughout the 2025-2026 season.
