Midland success in indoor inter-district events
Midland District were the winners in both U18 Boys and Girls Indoor Inter-District events last weekend.
Despite being held to a 4-4 draw by West District, wins over East (5-3), South (5-3), North District (5-1) sides were enough to ensure that Midland topped the standings in the girls’ event on Saturday.
On Sunday, an unbeaten Midland side ran out winners ahead of East and West in the boys’ event. Results against East (4-2, 4-2), plus a win (4-1) and draw (2-2) against West ensured a successful outcome.
Congratulations to all the players involved.
