London 2012 Test Event tickets – Scottish Hockey Members and public sale information

Tickets for hockey’s Olympic test event, the Visa
International Invitational Hockey Tournament, will go on sale to
the public at 10am on Thursday 15 March, exclusively from
Ticketmaster.
As a sponsor of London 2012, Visa (debit, credit,
prepaid) is the only card accepted for online ticket sales for this
London Prepares series event.
Spectators of all ages will need a ticket and
children aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
The Visa International Invitational Tournament will
feature current world champions, the men’s Australian and German
teams who are currently ranked number one and two in the world; the
current women’s world champions, Argentina; as well as both the
men’s and women’s British teams as they prepare for the London 2012
Games.
The men’s tournament will also feature India,
winners of eight Olympic gold medals while China, the women’s
silver medallists from Beijing, and Korea, also take part in the
women’s event.
The tournament will give these top teams the chance
to compete at a London 2012 venue ahead of the Games. It will also
allow spectators the chance to visit the Olympic Park and see
world-class sporting action.
Each team will play one match against each other in
the preliminary phase from 2-5 May . There will be a rest day for
the teams on Friday 4 May.
The first and second place teams will then play
each other in the final on Sunday 6 May and the third and fourth
place teams will play off for the final ranking positions.
