Local derby between ESM & Inverleith
Aberdeen Asset Management Women’s National League Division 2
Inverleith are full steam ahead after a mid-week win against Borders Fjordus Reivers and last weekend’s success. They go away to Erskine Stewart’s Melville FP in a local derby and will be looking to carry on their momentum and move up the table.
A few of the clubs face a double header weekend with struggling Haddington facing a very tough weekend. They go up against top of the division AAM Merlins Gordonians followed by second place Hillhead Ladies.
Borders Fjordhus Reivers will be wanting to ruin Hillhead Ladies’ 100% record on Saturday, while they welcome struggling Glasgow University on Sunday.
The student based team are yet to win a match and face mid-table Granite City Wanderers on Saturday.
Aberdeen Asset Management Women’s National League Division 3
University of Strathclyde open their season this weekend facing mid table Waverley Inveresk Trinity away from home. On the Sunday they travel to table toppers University of St Andrews.
After securing their first win last weekend Aberdeen Ladies play bottom of the table Bon Accord and sixth place ADTI Aberdeen University are away to Ayr.
Championship Women’s League East Division
CALA Edinburgh II have a tough match ahead of them this weekend as they go up against second place Grove Menzieshill A. The Meggetland based team have yet to put any points on the table.
Top of the division Edinburgh University II will go head to head with their third XI at Peffermill and there will be a mid-table battle between Watsonians A and Grange EL II.
West Division
Top of the table battle this weekend sees pace-setters Milne Craig Clydesdale Western II and second place Glasgow Accies go head to head. They played each other in a nail biting match last weekend, where the Titwood outfit came out on top 2-1, so it should be an exciting game.
At the other end of the division Giffnock welcome Kelburne II and Stirling Wanderers travel to Titwood to face Milne Craig Clydesdale Western III.
