International Coaching Session
On Thursday the 31st of May, during the upcoming
Scotland versus South Africa test matches, there is an opportunity
to further your coaching knowledge.
Scottish Hockey in Partnership with Clydesdale Hockey club and
the Glasgow School of Sport would like to invite all coaches who
are actively coaching teams to attend and watch an evening of
international training sessions.
- The first session will be from 6pm to 7:30pm and will be taken
by the South African national coach, Giles Bonnet, with the South
African Squad. - The second session will be run by Scotland Coach Gordon
Shepherd with the Scottish Squad and will be from 7:30pm to 9pm –
immediately after the South Africa session.
Group discussion throughout the training times will be led by
Glasgow School of Sport’s High Performance Coach Harry
Dunlop. Harry will also facilitate a Question and Answer
meeting with both national coaches after their sessions to expand
on any queries.
This is a great chance to watch and learn from two national
coaches and it is free!
