Hockey Injury Prevention Questionnaire
Tom Johnston, a research student from Edinburgh Napier University, Faculty of Health Life and Social Science is studying hockey injuries and warm ups in Scotland.
Hockey injuries happen for a number of reasons and he has developed a questionnaire looking to help develop insight into these especially non-contact injuries.
This questionnaire forms the first part of his study which is looking at the cause of injuries in hockey. He would be grateful if you could complete the questionnaire by clicking on to the link below or, if you prefer, a paper copy by emailing [email protected].

The second part of his study is to establish a collaborative view of warm up practice in training and before matches. This part of the study involves the researcher observing the normal warm ups various teams perform. At the end of warm up there is a short questionnaire for the coach to fill out about the warm up and how it was performed. If you would like to volunteer for this part of the study, please contact Tom via email or telephone.
Taking part in this study will help greatly in establishing some baseline data. Thank you for taking part in his questionnaire and if you would like to find out the results of the study, please contact me by email.
All information is confidential and anonymous and any information cannot be traced back to the participant. All participants are volunteers and can withdraw at any time without reason.
