Grove`s sixths title
SUBWAY NATIONAL LEAGUE (WOMEN)
Grove Menzieshill finally won their sixth consecutive
Subway national league title with a convincing 6-0 victory over
Kelburne on Tayside.
The contest was over by the interval, a hat-trick of set piece
goals from Louise Carroll was the killer along with strikes by
Linda Clement and Ali Bell to complete the scoring. The
champions took their foot off the pedal after the interval, the
only additional goal came from Clement.
Grange have leapfrogged Western Wildcats into third bottom place
to avoid the relegation play-off spot with a 2-1 win over Edinburgh
neighbours CALA.i
Wildcats went down 2-1 to Edinburgh University in their final
league encounter, Scotland striker Sam Judge notched both for the
students.
GHK were finally consigned to the drop after losing 4-0 to VWS
Dundee Wanderers. The Taysiders took a three goal
