Grove Menzieshill in European competition

Grove Menzieshill have a European agenda this weekend when they compete at the EuroHockey Indoor Club Trophy in Wettingen, Switzerland
Head Coach Charlotte Jones’ side will face Cambrai HC (France), HK Zrinjevac (Croatia) and hosts HC Rotweiss Wettingen (Switzerland) in Pool B of the competition, which runs from 22-24 February.
MSC Sumchanka (Ukraine), HF Lorenzoni (Italy), HC Dinamo Elektrostal (Russia) and Slagelse HC (Denmark) will contest the Pool A matches.
The first target for the Dundee outfit is to finish within the top two places of Pool B in order to progress to the promotion pool, where places in the EuroHockey Indoor Club Champions Cup are up for grabs for the Trophy winners and runners-up. Friday and Saturday morning’s matches will go some way to determining how they will progress.
