Grove Menzieshill announce Indoor Invitational Tournament
The annual Grove Menzieshill Invitational Indoor
Tournament will take place this year from 29th – 30th December at
Dundee International Sports Complex (DISC). This year’s event
offers a full programme of Men’s and Women’s games running over the
final weekend in December from 9am – 6pm.
For the second successive year award winning Angus based company
Intervention Rentals Ltd have kindly agreed to sponsor The Grove
Menzieshill Invitational Indoor Tournament.
The round robin style event will see some of the most talented
national and local players battle for the festive title. The
teams taking part include hosts Grove Menzieshill, Scotland
Under 21’s, Inverleith, Grange & Granite City Wanderers. This
event which is also being supported by Scottish Hockey and Dundee
City Council promises to be action packed and will provide an
opportunity for the younger generation of hockey players to compete
alongside those already well established in the sport.
The event will also showcase some of the best youth hockey
players in the area. Under 16 teams throughout Dundee, Angus
and Perthshire will be competing in their very own mini
tournament.
The event which features a host of international players, is a
great opportunity to watch a feast of festive hockey for all ages,
refreshments will be available all day, and spectators are invited
to attend DISC free of charge for both days.
