Gordonians shock
ARTHUR McKAY SCOTTISH CUP
Second division leaders AAM Gordonians produced a shock
in the Arthur McKay Scottish Cup catch-up tie by beating first
division Grove Menzieshill 5-4 in a penalty shoot-out after the
sides drew 4-4 in normal time at Countesswells.
German Borja Meissner was the hero for the Granite City side
with a hat-trick, Joel Evans got the other. Michael Ross was
the unfortunate Menzieshill player to miss his spot effort in the
penalty competition.
